LET GO OF YOUR EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE AND BRING BACK JOY INTO YOUR LIFE ! 🌞
Are you sceptical about 'energy healing'?
First of all, in my opinion it's ok to be sceptical about anything, I personally think that it strengthens our rational mind and critical thinking skills. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it helps us navigate our complex selves and our complex world.
I think it's actually a self-interested and self-protective action to be sceptical, to ask questions and to want to learn more instead of always accepting things at face value. We need to trust, but perhaps not always. By the way, I appreciate this will be slightly long, but I'd love for you to give this section a chance, as maybe some or even all parts will resonate with you. I really did try to put all my thoughts, perspectives and facets on this subject so that you have a chance to understand where I'm coming from.
I'm actually naturally sceptical myself, always have been, and more of a 'don't trust google, investigate properly and go straight to the source' kind of a person😉I'm very much pro-honesty and appreciate when people share that they are sceptical. And I may not know the answers but, annoying as it may be, I like to ask questions 😅I want to look at things from different perspectives so that I'm able to make my own judgments and decisions
Are you familiar with Derren Brown? Yeah, a huge fan here :) If you told me, even 5 years ago, that I would be doing something known as 'energy healing' I would have said you probably lost your mind 😂
Many people, upon hearing 'energy healing,' automatically dismiss the idea as 'new age-y or 'woo-woo'. And I think language is a part of the problem. Whenever I heard 'energy healing' in the past I used to have an image pop into my mind that I associated with something non-scientific, like a person moving their hands around another person and automatically rejected it due to the negative connotations it evoked.
So whilst I'm on this subject, let me clarify one thing - it's difficult to talk about the Emotion Code™ without using the term 'energy healing', even though it's usually classified as such. But The Emotion Code™ is not actually that - the practitioner does not actually 'heal' the client - all they do is they identify imbalances that could prevent our body from self-healing and act as a conduit for release of that trapped energy so that your own body, having removed those obstacles, can heal itself, which is what every single person on earth was designed to do. You can learn more about the process here:
Coming back to the subject of scepticism... I also, ironic as it may seem, consider myself an open-minded person. I like to give things and ideas a chance, and even though I'm not familiar with any other 'energy healing' modalities, I'm generally ready to listen and consider things from perspective that is different than mine.
I think, however that I have a slightly different view of what open mindedness actually means; I think to some people it means being open to new ideas, world views and adjusting your life accordingly. To me being open minded means simply this: if I'm open minded that something is correct then I also have to remain open minded that it's not. That's what true open mindedness means to me.
Because I'm kind of both, I can be told off by those who believe and those who don't at the same time - which is a very strange experience. There is one particular story with a mention of a Nobel Peace Prize, that I can't share online, but I can tell you if you ask me - it was one of those things that we tend to either fully believe or fully reject - I was genuinely curious to learn more details, but what I found out turned out to put the whole thing in question - I then subsequently tried to warn people about this person and that they were spreading misinformation ( which I have a proof of ) and I was literally told off for even asking and looking into it!! 😦
I was speechless and astonished - it was implied that it's a bad thing to not take something solely on faith and there is something wrong with me for doing that, completely ignoring the proof of the lie they told - well, I'm happy to report this approach backfired, cause I got even more cautious after that 😂 All it did is it strengthen the trust in myself 🙂
And I was lead onto some interesting paths throughout the years. I used be very opinionated when I was younger with a 'yes' or a 'no' perspectives on ideas with nothing in between. But over the years I morphed into allowing more grey areas into my mind. And I'm still sceptical about certain things, but now I'm more open to allow that some other ideas MAY be correct, rather than not giving them any chances at all. For example, I know believe certain elements of whole belief structures, such as religious ones, whilst still not believing the remaining ones. Just because something isn't black, it doesn't mean it's white.
I mean, if you think about it, a belief is rarely formed in an instant - which is what I used to think - I used to view beliefs that are opposite of mine as something that just sort of happens in an instant, with no particular reason behind it. However, forming a belief is usually a process. For me it was that I never doubted and believed right from the start that our subconscious knows everything about us ( including what's good and bad for us ) - because it made the most sense to me - but some doubts appeared when I came round to an explanation of how this process works - through connecting with another person's subconscious.
I thought - is this really possible? I really was not convinced at the onset of this journey. But after I had my first session and experienced the effects - I started to change my mind. I did not know what to expect and I definitely did not expect the results it brought. I then knew it works, didn't know how at the time, all I knew is that it just works.
I was a nervous wreck at the time ( to say the least ) and after my first session I felt like someone took a ton of bricks off my back and removed my worries ( which is sort of what happens if you know a bit more about the process ). And this was something I never experienced before. And that's the core of the issue here - nobody can 'convince' you this process works. The only way it can work is if you give yourself a chance to experience it yourself. It's one of those things where words and explanations don't do it much justice - because you just won't know how it feels until you give it a try. Nobody can feel it for you. If you don't try, you simply won't have a frame of reference.
Getting more involved in this process over the years I started realizing how many little grains of truth are out there that are are wrapped up in a whole bunch of lies, misunderstandings, misdirections etc., and that I rejected so many ideas because of that. I wasn't open to certain things ( unless scientifically proven ) because I was afraid of being conned, lied to and manipulated. But one of the most important lessons I learned over the years is that the most important thing is that 'it's not what they tell you, it's what they don't tell you'. Which is a whole other subject of what we are told and not told, eg. in the mainstream media.
So one other thing I think I need to mention, that may be clear to you but it wasn't to me, is that I'm painfully aware, through extensive experience, of the dark side of human nature, manipulative impulses, con artistry and straight up fraud or ill will of certain individuals. In the past I was one of the people who would never give an inch of a chance to certain areas, exactly because of the bad name they gave to these areas. But isn't it strange, that such individuals are usually way more famous, visible and in our faces than the quiet, well intentioned people who do their work because they genuinely want to help. Realizing that I have to differentiate the two was an important lesson for me.
However, at the same time, it is a fact that, after all, there are many things I don't know, and that nobody else knows the inner workings of. I believe that this is one of the aspects of me that allowed me to get involved with this 'healing' modality.
This beautiful idea is one of the aspects of what attracted me to this amazing modality. The first thing I read about it - that it's our subconscious that knows best what's good for us and how to heal ourselves better than any one person - made complete sense to me, which is exactly the opposite of what we normally hear - everyone says they know what is best for us and what will improve our lives.
Having learned that, I had an 'aha' moment' and decided to give it a try and experienced incredible results; I have been using it ever since I came across it in 2020 and my life changed for the better in ways that I could have never predicted and where I am now in my life I could have not ever foreseen - removing so many energies opened up so many new perspectives I did not even know I was missing;
When I was familiarizing myself with this modality and the inner workings of how it works I learned a lot, one of the most valuable lessons of which was how our positive intention to help reinstate a state of health and wellbeing is a key component of this modality and seems to be way more powerful than we are commonly told.
Another aspect of it all is that it's a fact of physics that everything is energy and everything vibrates, a.k.a. has a frequency. Including our intention. That is not an opinion, it's an unnegotiable fact. Plus, on top of that, there are these recent discoveries, such as that quantum fields have a free will ( look up eg. Federico Faggin, an inventor of touch pad and a researcher into consciousness ). On top of that, in 2022 a Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Alain Aspect, John F. Clauser and Anton Zeilinger for their pathfinding work in quantum mechanics and quantum information science and experiments demonstrating and investigating quantum entanglement. And these are just a couple of examples, there are a whole lot more that most people are not aware of ( coming soon in the 'Fun Facts' section 🙂)
On the one hand, these recent discoveries sound absolutely mind-blowing, on the other - they fit with the Emotion Code and the reason it actually works starts making sense. I think that it's thanks to such individuals, who do not actually take things only on faith and face value but whose drive to understand what's behind it is what helps us close the gap between seeing the incredible results of why this method works and the reason it does.
So, as mentioned before, I thought it might be a good idea to open up a section, which I named 'Fun Facts', where I intend to add ideas, scientific facts, inspirations, research results which I heard about over the years but which many people are now aware of - and if you are not aware you may have a limited perspective and consequently may not have all the tools to make the best decisions for yourself in your life. I intend to put a whole description there in the future, but for now you can look up Rene Peoc’h's 1986 chick and robot experiment - if you haven't heard of it, trust me, it's worth looking up, especially before reading further.
That was such a smooth segue to a little experiment I want to ask you to do ( lol ) - extend your arm in front of you. Now, how did you do that? With intention. Strange how we don't think about that, isn't it? It seems that combined with the electro-magnetic nature of both our bodies and the universe, positive intention to move energies that got 'stuck' in us is a very powerful tool in helping us bring back the state of health and wellbeing.
It sounds simple, and yet it's so powerful - I'm continuously in awe of the effects it can bring - sometimes they are subtle, sometimes dramatic - there are some amazing stories floating around, do ask me during a session and I'll tell you 🙂 Small or big, however, they nearly always bring some sort of shift and ultimately improvement of the quality of our lives.
And finally, I want to make a point that your permission is an essential important part of this process. When you have an absolute lack of faith and very strong scepticism, even if you do take a part in a session, you subconsciously self-sabotage yourself from opening up for healing possibilities. Without your permission, both external and internal, healing might be much harder or even not possible. Or to put it simply, nothing happens without your permission.
It's, of course, entirely up to you if you may be willing to put your trust into this modality. But, if you feel like you're ok to open up a little door of possibility that this modality might just help, it's really enough to allow for the amazing effects of self healing it brings.
